Following series of nominations from across Africa for a full year, the Central Working Committee (CWC) of The Future Awards Africa released a 5-people-per-category nominees List for 2013, and Jobberman founders appear again on the list; this time, in the Enterprise Support Category. See full nominees list here.
With a mission to inspire leadership and build enterprise; The Future Awards has been at the forefront; working with the Africa Union, the US Government, the British Council, the Ministry of Youth Development, the Nigerian Presidency amongst other prominent organisations.
The Future Awards, described by respected leaders as “Africa’s biggest youth event”, sorts out young, passionate and successful individuals who have carved niches for themselves in different spheres of the Nigerian economy, celebrating them as role models for exuding excellence at their work.
Since its first event, with outreache to Ghana, Ethiopia and South Africa; The Future Awards has greatly inspired African generations to believe in themselves and the future of their countries, and for the first time will go continental – this is timed to coincide with the just-concluded 50th anniversary celebration of the African Union, as announced by Chide Jideonwo, Executive direction of The Future Project.
The Future Awards has over the years produced 150 winners and over 1,200 nominees.
The 2013 edition of The Future Awards Africa holds in August 2013, in partnership with the Youth Office of the African Union Commission.
